Artist Statement

“My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the calming and healing power of nature. I am continually inspired by the ways landscapes hold quiet beauty, offering spaces of stillness and renewal. Through my paintings, I seek to create visuals that invite serenity, translating the essence of nature into a sense of inner peace both for myself and for those who encounter my work.

I often gravitate toward a limited palette and muted tones, while also weaving in bold colors for contrast and interest. This balance allows me to capture both the subtlety and the vitality I experience in nature. I enjoy working in a painterly style, where the brushstrokes remain alive on the canvas, giving each piece a sense of movement, texture, and looseness. This approach allows me to move beyond realism, blending observation with memory to create works that resonate on both visual and emotional levels.

At its heart, my practice is about connection. Through my art, I hope to offer moments of quiet reflection and create spaces where viewers can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the natural world.”
